Chicama, a design and install project for a Peruvian restaurant in Chelsea, London. The work involved a number of fitted copper shelving units, cabinetry, architectural metal works and a large reclaimed wood dining table
The highlights of the project was a large suspended copper pipe and reclaimed wood bar shelving above the main service counter at over 7m in length with integrated lighting. We also created a bespoke copper handrail and a large (over 3m) dining table in reclaimed wood. The large conference style table was made from single, full length reclaimed wood boards, posing quite a design challenge, and complex install due to difficult access to the basement. We designed a simple shelf bracket for high level reclaimed wood shelving throughout the restaurant, using a solid copper disc and brass fittings.
